Hyundai Mobis has announced the first public demonstration of its latest holographic windshield display system, developed together with German optics company ZEISS. The presentation will take place at CES 2025, which will be held in Las Vegas from January 7 to 10.
Here’s what we know
The Holographic Windshield Display projects driving, navigation and multimedia information across the entire windscreen, covering the area from the driver’s seat to the front passenger’s seat. To achieve this, a special optical film is applied to the glass that provides “a feeling of openness and spaciousness”, as well as greater driving safety. The Kia EV9 will be a demonstrator of the new technology at CES 2025.
It is a new technology that is still unparalleled in the market. Hyundai Mobis plans to introduce it in production vehicles in 2027.
